Gladys (Fitch) Stepp

Gladys (Fitch) Stepp, age 98, of Inez, KY, passed away on April 2, 2025, at her residence. She was born on January 10, 1927, to the late Ben and Rena (McCoy) Fitch in Martin County, KY. In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Stepp, one son, James Henry Stepp, three daughters, Susan Francis Mollett, Dicie Mae Greer, and Lena Mitchell, one granddaughter, Sharon Yaunk, one daughter-in-law, Susie Stepp, four sons-in-law, Truman Hackney, James Hensley, James Mollett, and Gary Mitchell, four brothers, Hobert Fitch, Benny Fitch, Hezekiah D. Fitchpatrick, and Carlos Fitch, and three sisters, Ann Perry, Pricie Crum, and Blanche Crum. Gladys is survived by two sons, Jasper Stepp, Jr. of Tomahawk, KY, and Larry Stepp of Inez, KY, two daughters, Irene Hensley of Inez, KY, and Judy (Gerald) Clark of Inez, KY, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Community Hospice of Ashland and family members that took care of her. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Frank Hay officiating. Burial will follow in the Stepp Cemetery in Inez, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday, April 3rd and Friday, April 4th from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
