Gregory Glen Maynard

Gregory Glen Maynard, age 62, of Pilgrim, KY, passed away September 2, 2021 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born April 6, 1959 to the late Herbert Maynard and Norma Jean Maynard of Inez, KY. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one brother, John Herbert Maynard and one sister, Legina Maynard. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Bonnie Sue Simpkins Maynard, two sons, Kevin (Kathy) Maynard of Fort Gay, WV and Herb (Edna) Maynard of Pilgrim, KY, one daughter, Kimberleigh Maynard, two brothers, Joe Ed (Wanda) Maynard of Inez, KY and Ronald Maynard of Pilgrim, KY, and three sisters, Sharon Kay Maynard and Denise (Gary) Gauze, both of Inez, KY, and Natasha (Stan) Boyd of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Herbert Chase Maynard, Devin Lee Maynard, Matthew Logan Maynard and Isaiah Maynard, all of which he loved spending time with fishing and showing them how to work on equipment and cars. Greg also loved riding his bike and attending church. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Maynard Family Cemetery with James Russell Maynard officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral cost. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
