Harvey Ray Penix

Harvey Ray Penix, age 78, of Tomahawk, KY, went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2020. He was born April 27, 1942 to the late Estil and Ethel (Boyd) Penix. He is survived by one brother, Glenn (Josie) Penix of Tomahawk, KY and three sisters, Callista Virginia Meade of Nippa, KY, Donna Jenkins of Inez, KY, and Kathy (Jerry) Blevins of Tomahawk, KY. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Calvin, George Lee, Estil, Jr. (Dale) and Harold Jack. Harvey was saved and baptized and joined Trace Fork United Baptist Church where he was a faithful member until his death. He loved his spiritual and natural family so very much. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. He never met a stranger. We, the family, feel our loss is Heaven's gain. Rest dear brother. We will join you soon! Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Glenn Penix and Willis Staton officiating. Burial will follow in the Penix Family Cemetery, Tomahawk, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
