Helen (Johnson) Bowen

Helen Bowen, age 76, of Inez, KY passed away June 26, 2022. She was born September 2, 1945 in Martin County, KY to the late Albert Johnson and Mary Dalton Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Bowen, one son, Paul Bowen, three brothers, Willie Johnson, Alvin Johnson, and Donnie Johnson, and three sisters, Ada Warren, Virgie Maynard and Ruth Maynard. She is survived by one son, Willie Johnson, three brothers, Delbert Johnson, Claude Johnson, and Albert Johnson, Jr., all of Ohio, and four sisters, Shirley Branham and Maggie Stepp, both of Inez, KY, Bessie Pruitt of Thelma, KY, and Bonnie Collins of Inez, KY. She is also survived by two grandsons, Brad Johnson and Zack Johnson, and one great granddaughter, Rylan Elaine Johnson, as well as a host of nieces and nephews that she loved very much. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Bowen Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
