Helen Annette (Ayscue) Smith

Helen Annette Ayscue Smith, age 61, of Tomahawk, KY, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, VA. She was born on July 24, 1961 in Green Cove Springs, FL to the late Eugene and Mavis Ayscue. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Rebecca (James) White of Knoxville, TN, two grandchildren, Paige Sweeney and Corey White, both of Knoxville, TN, four siblings, Donnie (Susie) Ayscue of Oak Hill, WV, Randy (Margaret) Ayscue of Tomahawk, KY, Diane (Andy) Root of Norwalk, OH, and Rusty (Brenda) Ayscue of Tomahawk, KY, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 2 PM at the Ayscue Family Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
