Henry Blackburn, age 93, of Tomahawk, KY, passed away June 15, 2020 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1927 to the late Henry Blackburn, Sr. and Mae Muncy Blackburn in Martin County, KY. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Olivene Stepp Blackburn, one brother, Melvin Blackburn, six sisters, Mavis Taylor, Mildred Adkins, Jean Hager, Nada Scott, Linda Linville, and Lulla Hall, and one great grandchild. He is survived by his two sons, John (Rita) Blackburn of Columbus, OH and Melvin Bruce (Lori) Blackburn of Grove City, OH, and two sisters, Margaret Daniels of Colegrove, OH and Mary Cline of Lovely, KY. He is also survived by five grandchildren, John (Brittany) Blackburn, Angie (Bob) Messer, Katie (Tracy) Brigner, Matthew (Jessica) Blackburn, and Daniel (Chanda) Blackburn, and seven great grandchildren. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 PM to 1 PM. There will be a graveside service immediately following visitation at the Blackburn Cemetery, Warfield, KY with Lonnie Ratliff officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Martin County Senior Citizens Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
