Howard Eugene Staton

Howard Eugene Staton, age 65, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away February 15, 2020 at his residence. He was born July 22, 1954 in Pilgrim, KY to the late Howard Douglas Wilson and Armel Ilene Staton Wilson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Danny Wilson, and two sisters, Wilma Wilson and DeAnna Kastner. He is survived by his wife, Blanche Ann Cales Staton, three daughters; Jeanise Staton (Ronald) Renaud of Scottsdale, AZ, Jeannette Staton of Fort Mitchell, KY, and Rhonda Sue (Terry) Quillen of Georgetown, KY, one stepson, Aaron Christopher Saul of Phoenix, AZ, his furbaby, Mia, one brother, Doug Wilson of Pikeville, KY, two sisters, JoAnne Jude and Lisa Wilson, both of Pilgrim, KY, and his aunts, Ruth Fluty, Helen Bush, and Julie Robinson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Isabella, Grace, Tyler, Kassidy, Cooper, Kennedy and Riley Ann, and one great grandchild, Dexter. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Danny Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackburn Cemetery of Pilgrim, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lovely Freewill Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
