Irene M. (Muncy) Delong

Irene M. Delong, age 55, of Tomahawk, KY, passed away April 16, 2021 at her residence. She was born July 1, 1965 in Columbus, OH to the late Jefferson Muncy and Charlotte Hinkle Muncy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sons, Jeremiah Lee Delong and Franklin Dennis Delong, and one brother, William Jeffery Muncy. She is survived by her seven grandchildren, Jeremiah Delong, Kristin (Delong) Preece, Jonathan Delong, Austin (Kelly) Mullette, Brittany Mullette, Brandon Mullette, and Nathan Stepp, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her special friend, Mike Fraker. She is also survived by her special sister-in-law, Phyllis Lowe and special brother-in-law, Burnis Lowe, who were her caretakers. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Tim Preece officiating. Burial will follow in the Virgie Delong Adams Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 10 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with the cost of services. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
