James Cassady Obituary

James Everette Cassady, age 67, of Inez, KY, passed away April 2, 2020 at Kings Daughter's Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born December 19, 1952 to the late Rev. Elmer Cassady and Doris "Toots" Helton Cassady in Inez, KY. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers: Elmer Cassady, Jr., Granville Cassady, Odell Cassady, Glen Homer Cassady, and Charles Russell Cassady, and two sisters, Lorraine Droz and Nollis Smith. He is survived by his wife, Lorna Kirk Cassady, two sons, James Aaron Cassady and Joshua Morgan Everette (Heather) Cassady, both of Inez, KY, one daughter, Jessica Elizabeth Clementine (Casey Baker) Cassady of Inez, KY, four brothers: Monroe Cassady of Inez, KY, Bill and Thomas Cassady, both of Fallsburg, KY, and Clark Cassady of Blaine, KY, and one sister, Lois Walker of Inez, KY. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Jenna Elyse Cassady, James Ethan Cassady, and Waylon Isaac Horn, a special great nephew, Jett Riley Blair, and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held on April 4, 2020. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
