James Donald May

James Donald May, age 69 of Debord, KY, passed away on October 15, 2024, at his residence. He was born on July 23, 1955, to the late Sam Williams and Shirley Combs in Clyde, OH. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by two brothers, Sammy and Ronald May and one stepdaughter, Angela (Scott) Elam. He is survived by his wife, Debra (Jarrett) May of Debord, KY, two sons, John Robert Conn of Ohio and Charles Bob May of Richmond, KY, six daughters, Christina Michelle (Billy) McCoy May of Mount Sterling, KY, Kristy Jo May of Texas, Jamie Lynn (James) Campbell of Hazard, KY, Rachel (Christopher) May of West Virginia, Alisha (Rob) Delong of Galloway, OH, and Erika Delong of Winchester, KY, his step mother, Jean Williams of Salyersville, KY, three brothers, Ricky Williams of Salyersville, KY, Randy (Katherine) Williams of Salyersville, KY, and Henry (Lynette) Williams of Georgetown, KY, seven sisters, Linda Kincer of Richmond, KY, Naomi (Wayne) Helton, Mary Howard, Marie Dotson, Tammy ( Doug) Howard, Virchie (Tracie) Howard and Nancy Gibson, all of Salyersville, KY. James is also survived by eleven grandchildren, James Dalton Cole of Lexington, KY, Jesse Austin (Katie) Cole of Mount Sterling, KY, Kelsey Dawn Kidd of Texas, Addison Ballard of Inez, KY, Adrian Ballard of Winchester, KY, Nova Russell of Ironton, OH, Aubrianna Suttles of Ironton, OH, Braxton Evan Howard of Galloway, OH, Connor Nelson Delong of Galloway, OH, Ethan Elam of Winchester, KY, and Mason Elam of Lexington, KY and five great grandchildren, Sadie Dawn Elam of Debord, KY, Waylon Blake Howard of Galloway, OH, Luna Grace Kidd, Brielle Audi Kidd, and Kaleia Capri Kidd, all of Texas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Lonnie Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Garden in Inez, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
