James R Johnson

James R. “Wormy” Johnson, age 69, of Tomahawk, KY, passed away on October 30, 2025, at his residence. He was born on July 27, 1956, to the late Robert and Geneva (Howard) Johnson in Martin County, KY. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Louise (Moore) Johnson, and two sisters, Glendene Rainwater, Shirley Moore, and Norm Mahon. He is survived by one daughter, Tina Johnson of Ohio, one grandson, Curtis Ward, three brothers, Harold Johnson of Tomahawk, KY, Glen Johnson of Inez, KY, and David Johnson, of Tomahawk, KY, and three sisters, Hester Johnson of Tomahawk, KY, Wanda McCoy of Tomahawk, KY, and Lisa Howell of McDowell, KY. A private graveside service will be held at the Johnson Family Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
