James "Jim" R. Mills

James "Jim" Mills, age 84, of Inez, KY, went home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2022 at his residence. He was born June 11, 1938 to the late Fred and Cora Hammonds Mills in Martin County, KY. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by seven brothers, Carl (Helen) Mills, Lewis (Martha) Mills, Henry (Nell) Mills, Richard (Ruby) Mills, Floyd (Vicie) Mills, Fred (Dora Lee) Mills, Jr., and Elmer Mills and six sisters, Bessie (Dave) Whitt, Goldie (James) Hobbs, Catherine (John) Horn (Allen) Frederick, Georgia Mills, Thelma (Auxier) Horn, and Ruth (Mikie) Whitt, He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Juanita (Dalton) Mills, one brother, Charles (Rheta) Mills, one daughter, Gladys (Michael) Parsons, and four sons, James (Tina) Mills, Virgil (Pam) Mills, Freddie (Tammy) Mills, and Phillip (Ron) Mills. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Tiffany (Thomas) Crum, Brandon Parsons, Kayla (Jerald) Stewart, Amanda (TJ) Buschle, Brett (Heather) Mills, Ann (Adam) Glover, Alexandria Mills, Eric Mills, Joseph Mills, Nathan (Savannah) Mills, and Lakin (Eric) Marr, seventeen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Derek Catron officiating and singing by his niece and family members. Burial will follow at the Copley/Dalton Cemetery on Turkey Creek Rd., Inez, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
