James “Jimmy” E. McCoy

James E. "Jimmy" McCoy, age 75, of Debord, KY passed away January 24, 2022 at Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. He was born November 7, 1946 in Wayne County, WV to the late Ernest William McCoy and Alma Young McCoy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Marie McCoy. He is survived by two sons, Darin (Cara) McCoy of Inez, KY and James W. (Myra) McCoy of Harrison Co., KY, two brothers, Lewis (Debbie) McCoy of Lancaster, OH and Everett (Mary May) McCoy of Louisville, KY, and two sisters, Pauline (Mosey) Ratcliff of Lawrence Co., KY and Janet (Hobert) Endicott Mills of Tomahawk, KY. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Dalton Levi McCoy, Sophia Marie McCoy and Owyn Alivia McCoy. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 1 PM at the New Friendship United Baptist Church with John Goble officiating. Burial will follow at the Fluty Lick Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday beginning at 5 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
