Joann Horn

Joann Horn, aged 46 years old, of Inez, KY, passed away May 30, 2025, at Kings Daughter’s Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born July 07, 1978, in Prestonsburg, KY to Connie Horn and the late Clifford Horn Jr. Along with her father Clifford and her special Uncle Roger Horn, Joann was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Clifford and Dicie Mae Horn of Inez, KY and her maternal grandmother Mary Hammonds of Inez, KY. Joann is survived by her mother Connie, her sister Crystal (Jerry) Hazlett, her “little brother”/Cousin Joseph Meade, her Aunt Donna (Cecil) Meade and her “sisters” Tammy (Joe) Reavis, Melissa (Ray) Horn, and Rhonda (Kenny) Howell. Let’s not forget that family is not who you’re related to by blood, family is built by bonds we make. Mama Jo, as she was known too so many, is also survived by her “children” Cody (Kaylee) Howell, Keneisha (Garrett) Mullins [Colton and Connor], Todd (Lynzy) Howell, Misty Howell, Jessica Seacrist, Breonna Horn, James Adkins and Bree Blackburn. She is survived by a host of her wild littles, cousins, and special friends, not least among them her Pizza Stop family. Joann was loved by and loved so many people; she will be sadly missed. Funeral services will be held at Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY on Tuesday, June 03, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow at the Horn Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, June 02, 2025, at Crum Funeral Home. Joann’s family will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
