Joanne (Stepp) Vanhoose

Joanne Vanhoose, age 70, of Inez, KY, passed away at her home on October 19, 2023 at 9 AM. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Vanhoose, her son, Ovie Stepp, and two brothers, Darrell Stepp and Ray Stepp. She leaves behind three daughters, Rose Dingess of Hode, KY, Priscilla Stepp of Hagerhill, KY, and Connie Osborne of Ulysses, KY, her baby, Austin Butcher, a very dear friend, Mary Bowen, ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She also leaves behind three sisters, Jeanetta Maynard of Inez, KY, Lucy Britton of OH, Earnestine Luster of Columbus, OH, and one brother, Bobby Gene Stepp of Inez, KY. She was loved by many and will be missed greatly. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Lonnie Ratliff and Michael Marcum officiating. Burial will follow at the Vanhoose Cemetery on Johnson Botton Rd. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday and Sunday from 5 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
