John L. Kirk

John L. Kirk, age 62, of Warfield, KY, passed away July 27, 2020 at Williamson Appalachian Regional Healthcare. He was born June 5, 1958 to the late John Henry Kirk and Nora Lee Kirk Sheppard in Cincinnati, OH. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Leigh Kirk, his grandmother, Mae Newsome, five brothers, Charles Kirk, Doug Kirk, Walter Kirk, William Patrick Kirk, and Paris Sheppard, and two sisters, Debra Vance and Drema Gail Kirk. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Lynn (Murphy) Kirk, one son, John L. Kirk, Jr. of Inez, KY, one daughter, Roxie (Brad) Stacy of Lovely, KY, one brother, Mark Kirk of Lenore, WV, and two sisters, Jeanette Coleman of Red Jacket, WV and Tammy Maynard of Lenore, WV. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Shawn Bradley Stacy, Cory Lee Stacy, Hannah Lynn Stacy and Aiden Bently Kirk. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 12:00 PM at the Victory Christian Center in Lenore, WV with Terry Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Baisden Cemetery of Dingess, WV. Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday after 6 PM. There will be a special service at 7 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
