John David McCoy

John David McCoy, age 67, of Inez, KY, passed away on October 23, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born on June 23, 1958, to the late John Henry McCoy and Wilma Pauline (Ash) Hallmark in Bucyrus, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael McCoy. John is survived by his wife, Carol (Dilling) McCoy of Inez, KY, one daughter, Olivia (Brad) Lafferty of Tomahawk, KY, two sons, John David (Jill) McCoy and Logan David McCoy, both of Wichita, KS, one brother, Mark Bloomfield, and two sisters, Deborah Fackler and Penny Heydinger. John is also survived by seven grandchildren, Easton Bradley Lafferty, who was his greatest joy in life, Logan Edward Ray Brown, Jozlynn Christina McCoy, Justin John McCoy, Taryn Marie Knedgen, Brooklyn Marie McCoy, and Zaydan Thomas McCoy, and one great grandchild, Blakely Knedgen. Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 4 PM to 6 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
