John Phillip Fletcher

John Phillip Fletcher, age 71, of Louisa, KY, passed away on January 16, 2025, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born on February 21, 1953, to the late John Fairchild Fletcher and Delilah Fletcher in Martin County, KY. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by three brothers, Tom Fletcher, Daniel Fletcher, and Denzil Fletcher, two sisters, Rebecca Fletcher and Louise Bowens, and one brother-in-law, Tommy Fitch. He is survived by two sons, John Phillip Fletcher, Jr. of Lawrence County, KY, and Eric Phillip (Brittany) Mollett of Ulysses, KY, three daughters, Delilah (Glenn) Fluty of Louisa, KY, Becky Bennett of Louisa, KY, and Maggie Fletcher of Logan, WV, two sisters, Geraldine Jennings of Prestonsburg, KY, and Ernestine Newsome of Debord, KY, one brother, Millard Fletcher of Inez, KY, and one brother-in-law, his best friend, Colonel (Kenna) Fitch. John is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, Erikka Leann Hope Blevins, Alexis (Scottie) Hayes, Katleyn Maynard, Sophie Maynard, Kynleigh Maynard, Wyatt Maynard, William Bennett, John Bennett, Denzil Bennett, Jace Fletcher, Bastion Fletcher, Bryson Wilson, Quentin Wilson, Braxton Kelly, Gabriella Kelly, and Carolyne Fletcher, and one great grandchild, Evelyn Hayes. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Joseph Castle officiating. Burial will follow at the Fletcher Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM, with a church service officiated by Luther Fletcher beginning at 6 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
