John Ralph Robinson

John Ralph Robinson, 78, passed away on January 20, 2022 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY. In the later 37 years of his life, John Ralph resided in Lawrenceburg, KY but was born at the family home-place in Martin County, KY on March 7, 1943 to John and Nancy “Nannie” Robinson and he has gone on to be in heaven with them and his five siblings who all preceded him: Ida Jean, Glen, Bernice, Joann, and Sybil. 

He is survived by Barbara Lynn Robinson, his wife of 57 years, who was by his side till the end. He is also survived by his son & daughter-in-law, John David & Aimee, 3 granddaughters, Gabby, Isabelle, & Lilly, as well as 3 great grandchildren, Easton, Atlas, and Issac. 7 Nieces and 2 nephews will also miss him greatly.

He was a welder, a shovel mechanic, and tool & die maker who worked hard all his life so that his family would never go without, and to all that knew him, he was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, & friend.  

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Jack Ward offficiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson Family Cemetery off of Spring Branch Road, just north of Inez, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 AM until the time of services. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
