John C. Williams

John C. Williams, age 89, of Pilgrim, KY passed away June 19, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. He was born February 25, 1932 in Jackson, OH to the late Clarence Earl Williams. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents that raised him, Pete and Pearl Williams, one brother, Clarence Earl Williams, Jr. and one sister, Elizabeth Sue Short. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Lutie Williams and one brother, Gregory (Kathy) Williams of Bowling Green, KY as well as a host of family and friends. John served his country in the United States Army and spent many years as a teacher and coach in the Martin County School System. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Rick Osborn officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmon Cemetery on Emily Creek. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
