Johnny Kirk

Johnny Kirk, age 75, of Inez, KY passed away on September 19, 2024, at his residence. He was born on July 17, 1949, to the late Arthur Kirk, Sr. and Maxine (Horn) Kirk in Paintsville, KY. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny Kirk, Jr. and Ricky Dean Kirk, two brothers, Arthur Kirk, Jr. and Virgil Ray Kirk, one sister, Virginia Elizabeth Kirk, four grandchildren, Dustin Kirk, Justin Kirk, Nathaniel Hinkle and Christopher Bowen and one great grandchild, Liam Chase Bowen. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle (Horn) Kirk of Inez, KY, three daughters, Amanda Sue Meade, Kimberly Lynn Bowen, and Alisha Jude, all of Inez, KY, one son, Earl (Krissy) Bowen, and one brother, Edgar Kirk of Columbus, OH. Johnny is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Keesha (Raymond) Johnson, Kirkland (Andrea) Bowen, Susan Kirk, Renae Kirk, Steven Kirk, Ricky Bowen, Ricky Kirk, Brett Kirk, Katie Mills, Ariel Meade, and Isabella Jude, and fifteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 1PM at the Kirk Memorial Baptist Church with Albert Horn and Richard Doc Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirk 2 Cemetery. Friends may visit the church on Saturday, September 21st and Sunday, September 22nd from 5PM to 9PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
