Johnny P. Parsons

Johnny P. Parsons, age 66, of Staffordsville, KY passed away June 11, 2021 at UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born November 2, 1954 in Paintsville, KY to the late Earnest Ray and Thelma DIals Parsons. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Parsons. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Music Parsons, three sons, Neil (Mandy) Parsons of Bluffton, SC, Phillip Cody Parsons of Staffordsville, KY, and Zachary Ryan (Faith) Parsons of Morehead, KY, one daughter, Katrina (Tony) Davis of Walton, KY, and one brother, Michael (Gladys) Parsons of Pilgrim, KY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Blake Parsons, Lexie McIntosh, Austin McIntosh, Jadalyn Colemire, Kaylee Colemire, Byron Davis, Jozie Hill and Graham Ryan Parsons. Johnny was a member of the Bonanza Freewill Baptist church. He was also a member of the Kentucky Crappie Trail Club. He loved to fish, deer hunt and turkey hunt. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 beginning at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Jimmy Brown, Van West, Rick Goble, and BJ Crider officiating. Burial will follow in the Dials Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 5 PM to 9 PM with special services at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donation be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral cost. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
