Konda "Connie" Rhae (Rife) Ward

Konda "Connie" Rhae Ward, age 81, of Tomahawk, KY passed away February 5, 2022 at her residence. She was born November 19, 1940 in Martin County, KY to the late William Howard Rife and Ruth Cassady Rife. Connie graduated from Inez High School in 1959 and worked at the local Chevrolet Car Dealership for around 40 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Donald Cassady Riffe. Connie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Bobby Gene Ward. They were married on November 24, 1990 and they attended the Refuge Church of God in Inez, KY. She is also survived by one daughter, Dena Rhae Booth of Tomahawk, KY, two half brothers, William Rife and Roland Rife, both of Illinois, three half sisters, Deborah Rife Tarant and Sandra Rife (Robert) Hall, both of Illinois, and Rhonda Rife (Richard) Messer of Atlanta, GA, two brother-in-laws, Walt (Charlotte) Ward and Homer (Yvonne) Ward, both of Tomahawk, KY, two sister-in-laws, Lou Riffe (Dicky) Tackett of McDowell, KY and Carol Ward Wells of Inez, KY, and her stepmother, Dorothy Gipson Rife. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral home with Shawn Tussey officiating. Burial will follow in the Cline Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Dena Booth and mailed to PO Box 322, Inez, KY 41224. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
