Larry Stump

Larry Stump, age 71, of Debord, KY, passed away June 20, 2025, at his residence. He was born October 13, 1953, in Grapevine, KY to the late Floyd Stump, Sr. and Betty Mutter Stump. In addition to his parents, Larry is also preceded in death by one son, Travis Carter, one daughter, Crystal Coleman, one grandson, Landon Stump, two brothers Gary Stump and Charlie Stump. Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Newsome Stump, two sons, Larry Lee Stump, JD (Trina) Carter, four daughters, Jessica (Timothy) Cecil, Sheralyn (Matthew) Anderson, Jennifer Jo Stump, Cassie Stump (John) McCormick. Larry is also survived by two brothers Floyd Stump, Jr., Roger Stump, six sisters, Jean Moore, Margaret Justice, Kay Anderson, Lorene Varney, Louise Christian, and Alma Sullivan. He is survived by fifteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, and one great grandchild on the way. Larry will be sadly missed by all those who knew him and loved him. Funeral services will be held in the Crum Funeral Home Chapel of Inez, KY on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Lonnie Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow at the Newsome Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Crum Funeral Home.
