Lillian Rose (Horn) Howell

Rose Howell, age 74, of Inez, KY, passed away November 20, 2020 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. She was born November 16, 1946 in Martin County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Mitchell Curtis, Sr. and Lillie Belle Testerman Horn. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Garland Howell, his father Garland Howell, one brother, Mitchell Curtis Horn, Jr., and two sisters, Wilda Francis Boggs and Debra Arlene Dalton. Rose is survived by her grandchildren which she loved so much; Carly (Chris) Watson of Clay City, KY; John, Audreaona, and Elizabeth Howell, and Clara Ausmus, all of New Tazwell, TN; James Meek of Prestonsburg, KY, one great grandchild, Rowen Watson of Clay City, KY, her daughter in law, Margaret Ausmus of New Tazwell, TN, three brothers, Jack Horn of Inez, KY, James (Congetta) Horn and Keith (Ann) Horn, both of Tomahawk, KY; four sisters, Glenda (Jerry) MacBlane of Belleview, FL; Linda Sue Fyffe of Piketon, OH; Dorothy Crum of Inez, KY; Sharen (Garfield) Smith of Ulysses, KY. She is also survived by five aunts, one uncle, her step-children, Gary, Barry, Terry, Debbie, and Sherry, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In accordance with current guidelines, there will be a private visitation and funeral service with Mike Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in the Horn Family Cemetery of Tomahawk, KY. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
