Lois (McCoy) Meade

Lois (McCoy) Meade, age 82 of Louisa, KY, passed away on January 22, 2025. She was born on July 12, 1942, to the late Clyde and Grace (Jude) McCoy in Beauty, KY. Lois was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Meade, two sons, Paul Michael Meade and Timmy Speakman, four brothers, Johnny McCoy, Gabie McCoy, Carl McCoy, and Tommy McCoy, one son-in-law, Jeff Pitts, and three sisters-in-law, Linda McCoy, Sandy McCoy, and Betty McCoy. She is survived by one son, Johnny (Carolyn) Meade of Inez, KY, one daughter, Michelle Pitts of Hagerhill, KY, three brothers, Leroy (Phyllis) McCoy of Louisa, KY, Clyde (Angie) McCoy of Marysville, OH, and Richard (Connie) McCoy of Inez, KY, three sisters, Caroline (Kim) Ratliff of Warfield, KY, Gail (Randy) Cassady of Pilgrim, KY, and Linda (David) Moore of Kodak, TN, two sisters-in-law, Ruby McCoy of Johnson County, KY, and Barbara McCoy of Kodak, TN. Lois is also survived by five grandchildren, Tiffany (Tommy) Hinkle, Dustin (Lakean) Meade, Kendra (Robbie) Blevins, Keaton Meade, and Jeff Pitts, twelve great grandchildren, Chase Hinkle, Declan Meade, Kamryn Hinkle, Madden Meade, Jon Hinkle, David Hinkle, Kenzlee Blevins, Greyson Blevins, Ashey Hammonds, Natasha Hammonds, Austin Cole, and Matthew (Bob) Smith, and two great great grandchildren, Carter Jarrett and Bryson Chapman.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
