Lucille (Cline) Hinkle

Lucille Hinkle, age 94, of Inez, KY passed away June 10, 2021 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. She was born August 22, 1926 in Inez, KY to the late Scott Cline and Mary Ward Cline. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John C. Hinkle, Jr., one son, Ellery Scott Hinkle, one son-in-law, Richard Ward, two brothers, James Babe Cline and Trigger Dale Cline, one sister-in-law, Betty Cline, and two grandchildren, Dezra Ann Ward and Mary Janetta Muncy. She is survived by one son, John C. (Karen) Hinkle of Ashland, KY, three daughters, Vonda (Richard) Young and Ina Mary Ward, both of Inez, KY, and Theta (Bill) Ernest of Richmond, KY, and one sister-in-law, Ruth Cline of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Lucinda Ward, Tonya Renee' (Donald York) Blackburn, Angela Beth (Chris) Maynard, Matthew (Shannon O'Neil) Hinkle, Ryan (Maria) Hinkle, John Marshall (Sabrina Prewitt) Hinkle, Jared (Katie) Ernest, and Seth (Katherine) Ernest, and 11 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Breanna Maynard, David Muncy, Anna Muncy, Joshua Muncy, Rebecca Ward, Lexie Nicole Blackburn, Tristan Alexander Blackburn, Arlo Ernest, Georgia Violet Ernest, Aiden Roe Hinkle, and Elias Hinkle. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church with Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Hinkle Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM and at the church on Sunday beginning at 11 AM until the time of services. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
