Mae (Moore) Preece

Mae (Moore) Preece, age 95, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the home of her son, Robert (Phyllis) Preece. Born July 12, 1926 to Richard and Mary Belle (Chapman) Moore, she is preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters, Opal (Ivan) Wilson and Essie (Elmer) Kazee, as well as her husband, Lorenz "Babe" Preece. She is also preceded in death by two nieces, Lois and Donna, and one nephew, Junior, as well as one son in law, Danny Jarrell. She is survived by her five children, Carolyon Sue Jarrell, Robert (Phyllis) Preece, Ronald (Ruth) Preece, Larry (Phyllis) Preece and Greg (Judy) Preece. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Denny Ray Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Moore Cemetery on Wolf Creek. Friends may visit at the funeral home of Wednesday and Thursday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
