Mardy Mollett

Mardy Mollett, age 73, of Tomahawk, KY, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at his home on Trace Fork. He was born August 14, 1949 to the late Earl and Helen Wells Mollett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one grandson, Cameron David Mollett of Webbville, KY and three sisters, Iva (Richard) Davis, Jeanette (John) Preece, and Olivean (Denny) Johnson. Mardy was a retired coal miner. He is survived by two sons, Mardy Mollett, Jr. of Paintsville,KY and Brian David (Julie) Mollett of Webbville, KY, two grandchildren, grandson, Pacey Mollett and granddaughter, Greenlea Mollett, both of Webbville, KY, nine brothers and sisters, Anna (Phillip) Spriggs of Meally, KY, Emma Leona Fetterly of Vinton, OH, Richard (Gladys) Mollett of Salyersville, KY, and Janet (Alvin) Hill, Alice Cole, Jerry Mollett, Linda Mollett, Michael Mollett and Mark Mollett, all of Tomahawk, KY. He is also survived by a special friend, Pamela Carpenter, of Salyersville, KY and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 1 PM at the family cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
