Margaret (Spaulding) Hodge

Margaret Hodge, age 92, of Kermit, WV passed away February 21, 2022 at Tug Valley Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, KY. She was born April 20, 1929 in Kermit, WV to the late Vess and Alisie Brewer Spaulding. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Brent Garland, her second husband, Les Hodge, three sons, Paul Garland, Charles Garland, and Randy Garland, one daughter, Rosie Garland, three brothers, William Spaulding, Gid Spaulding, John Spaulding, and Andy Spaulding and two sisters, Rosie Fields and Polly Porter. She is survived by three sons, William Garland of Columbus, OH, Andy Garland of Kermit, WV, and Larry Dale Garland of Logan, OH, one daughter, Lerah Williams of Grove City, OH, and one brother, Cecil Spaulding of Kermit, WV. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Julius Muncy and Clyde Ray Muncy officiating. Burial will follow in the Spaulding Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
