Marie (Fletcher) Lowe

Marie Lowe, age 81, of Pilgrim, KY, passed away December 18, 2020 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, KY. She was born August 18, 1939 in Martin County, KY to the late Floyd and Dencie Maynard Fletcher. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband that she loved dearly, Russell Lowe, one son, Eddie Wayne Lowe, one brother, Richard Fletcher, and two sisters, Sadie Lent and Patty Fletcher. She is survived by two sons, Ebbie Lane (Jan) Lowe of Inez, KY and Brian Dale (Kendra) Lowe of Lovely, KY, four daughters, Karen (Larry) Thompson of Pikeville, KY, Marlene (Billy) Maynard and Crystal (James) McCoy, both of Pilgrim, KY and Kaye (Jerry) Wright of Inez, KY, one daughter in law, Jamie Lowe of Inez, KY, four brothers, Hayes Fletcher and Floyd Fletcher, Jr., both of Louisa, KY, Jesse Fletcher of Inez, KY, and Nathan Fletcher of Tomahawk, KY, and five sisters, Elizabeth Parsons of Inez, KY, Nellie Scarberry of Chesapeake, OH, Ruby Fletcher of Grayson, KY, Kizzie Whitt of Warfield, KY and Margie Lowe of Pilgrim, KY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Levi Lowe, Cody Lowe, Chancy Maynard, Jerrad Wright, Jessica Lowe, Karlee Richardson, Alyssa McCoy, Joshua Justice and Ashley Ramsey, and seven great grandchildren, Garrett Lowe, Gunner Lowe, Raelan Lowe, Branson Lowe, Dale Ramsey, Baylor Justice and Raegan Justice. Marie loved the Lord and was a member of Martin County Freewill Baptist Church. She loved her children with her whole heart and enjoyed using her green thumb to work in her flowers. She also loved spending time with her Senior Citizen family. There were many that felt the love of Momma Marie and if you knew her, you knew you were welcomed at her table. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 21, 2020 in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Henry Jude and Jimmy Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowe Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
