Marilyn (Maynard) McCoy

Marilyn Maynard McCoy, age 59, of Barboursville, WV, passed away June 18, 2023 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born January 8, 1964 in Louisa, KY to the late James Maynard and Lurie Bowen Maynard. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clay McCoy, four brothers, Bobby Maynard, Wilburn Maynard, James Earl Maynard, and Sidney Maynard, and one sister, Patricia Pridemore. She is survived by two sons, Austin McCoy and Dylan McCoy, both of Ohio, two daughters, Merlin Williams of Barboursville, WV and Melanie McCoy of Webb, WV, four brothers, Glen Maynard of MO, Russell Maynard of Dunlow, WV, Terry Maynard of Webb, WV, and Greg Maynard of Inez, KY and three sisters, Ernestine Maynard of Webb, WV, Ruby Greenway of Nixa, MO, and Victoria Maynard of Inez, KY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 1 PM at the Webb Freewill Baptist church. Burial will follow at the Webb Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church beginning at 1 PM on Thursday. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
