Mary Elizabeth (Stapleton) Howell

Mary Elizabeth Howell, age 61, of Louisa, KY, passed away March 10, 2024 at her residence. She was born January 30, 1963 in Louisa, KY to the late Clarence and Nora Jean Stapleton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Stapleton. She is survived by her husband, Frankie Howell, one son, Rocky (Crystal) Howell of Fallsburg, KY, three brothers, Clarence Stapleton, Sammy Stapleton, and Terry Stapleton, all of Louisa, KY, and four sisters, Bonnie Meade, Nora Truitt, and Alice Stapleton, all of Louisa, KY and Brenda Stapleton of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Cody Howell, Livvie, and John. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 1 PM at the Catalpa Freewill Baptist Church in Louisa, KY with Tim Porter officiating. Burial will follow at the Howell Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church beginning at 5 PM on Tuesday. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
