Mary Maynard (Scott) Moore

Mary (Scott) Maynard Moore, age 88, of Inez, KY, passed away on November 20, 2025, at Highlands ARH in Prestonsburg, KY. She was born on October 6, 1937, to the late Walker and Reba (Dye) Scott in Rockhouse Fork of Pigeon Roost, KY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Harvey Maynard and Arthur Moore, one daughter, Loretta Lynn Moore, and siblings, America Moore, Pat Jude, and Willis Scott. Mary is survived by one son, Jason Maynard, her siblings, John Scott (Laura Fulks) and Nada Scott, one granddaughter, Ticia (Shaun) Sweeney, and one special great granddaughter, Cherokee Sweeney, who was her world.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 2 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Tom Dials and Randall Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Jude-Fletcher Cemetery in Pilgrim, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday, November 21stand Saturday, November 22nd from 5 PM to 9 PM. A church service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd at 7 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
