Mollie Ellen (Maynard) Spaulding

Mollie Ellen Spauling, age 79, of Kermit, WV, passed away March 14, 2024 at her residence. She was born September 1, 1944 in Peter Cave, Kentucky to the late Chester and Ethel Porter Maynard. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Spaulding, and one sister, Oma Scott. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Ann Ferguson of Warfield, KY, three brothers, Chester Ray (Judy) Maynard of Crum, WV, Dennis (Gail) Maynard of Pilgrim, KY, and Prentice Maynard of Inez, KY, three sisters, Christine (Lindsey) Spaulding of Kermit, WV, Vicie (Ray) Carter of Beauty, KY, and Annie (Billy) Dingess of Tomahawk, KY, and brother-in-law, Mack Scott of Lovely, KY. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Samantha Spaulding and Jason (Amanda) Spaulding, three great grandchildren, Keegan Spaulding, Anna White, and Maryssa Salmons, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 12 PM at the Perry Point Church on Jennie's Creek. Burial will follow at the Spaulding Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
