Nancy Carol (Nunley) Newsome

Nancy Carol (Nunley) Newsome, age 79, of Inez, KY, passed away on June 29, 2025, at Highlands ARH in Prestonsburg, KY. She was born on November 29, 1945, to the late Kinsor and Celia (Davis) Nunley in Naugatuck, WV. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Harvie Newsome, one brother, Kinsor Nunley, Jr, and one sister, Dorothy Smitty. She is survived by two sons, Mark (Janna) Newsome of Inez, KY, and Timothy (Cindy) Newsome of Floyd County, KY, one brother, Ralph Nunley of Ohio, two sisters, Connie Waylen of Ohio and Carlene Jarvis of Rush, KY. Nancy is also survived by six grandchildren, Mia (Brayden) Randall, Kobe (Kelsea) Newsome, Kylee (Mark) Puckett, Kata Newsome, Klair Newsome, and Gray Newsome, and three great grandchildren, Phoenix, Sunnie, and Myra. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Tommy Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Ross Cemetery in Rush, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
