Nellie Jean (Moore) Morrison

Nellie Jean Moore Morrison, age 66, of Meathouse, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Martin County Healthcare Facility after a long illness. Nellie was born February 13, 1954, on the left fork of Meathouse to the late Phillip and Elizabeth Moore. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Morrison as well as three brothers, Billy Moore, Marcus Moore, and James Dee Moore, and four sisters, Gracie Howard, Liddie Adkins, Minnie Moore, and Joann Howell. Nellie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker. She leaves behind three daughters, Gracie (Marion Joe) Jude of Meathouse, KY, Linda (Kelly) Blackburn of Debord, KY, and Cindy (Eric) Porter of Debord, KY, three brothers, John Henry (Julie) Moore, Abraham (Cora) Moore, and Malcolm (Sharlene) Moore, one sister, Linda Preece, ten grandkids, Ervin Jude, Johnny Jude, Dustin Jude, Trevor Blackburn, Willis Preece, Holly Blackburn, Marrisa Preece, Dylan Porter, Charlie Porter and Elliana Porter, two great grandchildren, Brantley and Addison Jude, and a special ex son in law, Kenny Ray Preece. She was a wonderful and caring person. She loved her family more than anything. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Buck Branch Church with Keith Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow in the McCoy Family Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday and Sunday after 3:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
