Nyoka Dale (Jenkins) Maynard

Nyoka Dale (Jenkins) Maynard, age 73, of Beauty, KY, passed away on December 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by family after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born on April 17, 1952, in Williamson, WV. Nyoka was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Helena (Stepp) Jenkins, and her husband, Eugene Maynard. Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, daughter, Lisa (Virgil) Marcum of Beauty, KY, two sons, Eugene (Rhonda) Maynard Jr. of Lenore, WV, and Chuck (Alecia Singleton) Maynard of Salvisa, KY, and one brother, Talmadge Jenkins. Nyoka is also survived by nine grandchildren, Morgan (Dave) Evans, Devin Maynard, Bryan Marcum, Rihanna Marcum, Chasity (Ricky) Harless, Ethan Maynard, Gavin Marcum, Waylon Marcum and Mason Singleton, and six great grandchildren, Ella Evans, Eli Evans, Jaylyn Harless, Ricky Harless, Kyler Harless, and Trey Harless, as well as many nieces and nephews who she loved as her own children. Nyoka loved to spend time with her family, traveling, and motorcycle riding with her late husband. Her greatest and most important accomplishment is giving her life to the Lord.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025, at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Joe Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Charlie Maynard Cemetery in Beauty, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday, December 28th and Monday, December 29th, from 6 PM to 9 PM, and on Tuesday, December 30th, from 12 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
