Ovie Lee Stepp

Ovie Lee Stepp, age 51, of Springfield, OH, passed away January 11, 2021. He was born February 20, 1969 in Inez, KY to the late Alvin Vanhoose and Garnett Bowen Stepp. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Ray Bob Stepp and Darrel Stepp. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Joanne Vanhoose, who raised him and was like a mother to him, his companion, Trisha Finchum Funderburgh, four sons, Cody Stepp of KY, Tristan Gillam of Kettering, OH, Kaleb Stepp of Xenia, OH, and Tecumseh Funderburgh of Springfield, OH, one daughter, Kari Palmer of Xenia, OH, six additional sisters, Connie Vanhoose Osborne, Priscilla Vanhoose, Rosie Vanhoose, Jeanetta Sue Maynard, Earnestine Luster, and Lucy Britton, and one brother, Bobby Gene Stepp. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jacoby Stepp, Marlee Robinson, and River Gillam. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday and Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
