Phillip Smith

Phillip David Smith, age 60, of Inez, Kentucky, passed away on November 17th, 2022. Born November 12, 1962, he was the son of the late Elmer Smith and Imogene Flannery Smith. Phillip retired from the Martin County School District as a Bus Mechanic and Substitute Bus Driver. He became a truck driver after his retirement and enjoyed seeing new places. Phillip was an avid baseball fan and loved the Cincinnati Reds. His hobbies included his love of classic cars and remote control airplanes and helicopters. He loved his family unconditionally. Phillip is survived by his wife, Naomi; along with three children; Matthew Smith, Adora Williams (AJ), and Annette Mackto; four grandchildren, Grace Mackto, Addison Mackto Melhtretter, Liam Williams and Connor Williams; and many other loved ones and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 2 PM at Bethel Church in Inez KY. Burial will follow at the family cemetery on Moore Br., Inez, KY. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday from 3 PM to 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Crum Funeral Home Inez, KY to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
