Phillip "Phil" J. Dalton

Phillip J. "Phil" Dalton, age 72, of Inez, KY, passed away February 21, 2021 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. He was born January 9, 1949 in Hode, KY to the late Thomas Jackson Dalton, Jr. and Bye Alley Dalton. He was a member of the Inez Freewill Baptist church for many years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, T.J. Dalton and Ralph Dalton. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ella Mae Goble Dalton, one son, Michael Dalton of Pembroke, VA, two brothers, Mark Steven Dalton and Terry Lee Dalton, both of Inez, KY, and five sisters, Laura Mae Dalton of Creola, OH, Judy Tiller of Catlettsburg, KY, Linda Harmon of Pilgrim, KY, and Wanda Jude and Brenda Reed, both of Inez, KY, three grandchildren, Lauren Martin of Benton, AR, Rubymae Dalton and Jacob Dalton, both of Pembroke, VA and three great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of special family, friends, neighbors, church brothers and sisters and his special dog, Bingo. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Richard "Bubby" Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Garden. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
