Presley Carter

Presley Carter, age 86, of Beauty, KY, passed away April 17, 2021 at Martin County Healthcare Facility in Inez, KY. He was born October 9, 1934 in Martin County, KY to the late Shade Carter and Mary Maynard Carter. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Winnie Lee Maynard Carter, six brothers, RB (Dorthy) Carter, Bud (Thelma) Carter, Matt (Martha) Carter, Howard (Norma) Carter, Rufus (Tiny) Stepp, and one baby brother, five sisters, Louise Carter (Steve) Copley, Mertle Carter, Lidie Carter (Russell) Kirk, Haddie Carter, and Nona Carter, and one sister-in-law, Ellie Carter, first wife of Ray Carter. He is survived by one  brother Ray (Vicie) Carter of Beauty, KY, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and lots of friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the Wolf Creek Community Church with Rodney Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Carter Family Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Monday and Tuesday starting at 6 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
