Rachel Suzanna Marcum

Rachel Suzanna Marcum, age 51, of Mooresburg, TN, passed away July 7, 2024. She passed in Evergreen, AL due to a fatal motor vehicle accident along with her dog and beloved companion, Gracie. She was born December 8, 1972 in Louisa, KY to Charles Bruce (Peggy) Marcum and Billie Jean Kilgore Phillips and special dad, Kenneth "Kenny" Phillips. She is proceeded by a sister, Jessica Marcum. She is survived by her two loving children, Tyler Marcum and Isabella Brewster of TN, three brothers, James Adam (Summer) Gilman, KJ (Melissa) Phillips, and Kyle Sammons. She is also survived by six beloved nieces, Trinity, Natalie, and Emma Gilman, and Kierra, Kylee, and Kenna Phillips, two aunts, Lois Fields and a special aunt Sharon (Uncle Ricky) Endicott, and a host of cousins. Rachel loved all of her family. She was a member of the Hamblen County Garden Club and she loved the outdoors. She loved swimming and hiking! She will be missed by all that knew her. Her celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 20th at 1pm at the residence of Billie & Kenny Phillips, 9631 Hwy 11W Moorseburg, TN 37811. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to her children Tyler Marcum & Isabella Brewster.
