Randall Sweeney, age 73, of Beauty, KY, passed away on May 15, 2025, in Ashland, KY. Born on June 13, 1951, Randall was a proud veteran of the United States army and spent much of his working life as a coal miner with Wolf Creek Colliers. Known for his strong work ethic and deep love for his family, Randall made a lasting impact on all who knew him. He found joy in life's simple pleasures-coaching baseball and basketball, pursuing his passion for guns, attending auctions, and most importantly, spending quality time with his loved ones. Randall is survived by his devoted wife, Carolyn Sweeney of 52 years; two sons, Dwayne (Mandy) Sweeney of Beauty, KY, and Ronnie (Tabatha) Sweeney of Louisa, KY; and his cherished grandchildren, Addison Sweeney, Cayden Sweeney, Ethan Whitt, and Dylan Whitt. He is also survived by his brother, Keith Sweeney, and sisters Anna Hickman, Rose Jude, and Connie Sweeney Murphy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Nancy Sweeney, and his brothers Ronnie Lee Sweeney, Mason Sweeney, Dallas Sweeney, Granville Sweeney, and Carlos Jr. Sweeney. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Crum Funeral Home in Inez, KY, on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, at 2:30 PM in the chapel Crum Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa, KY. The service will be officiated by Ronnie Sweeney and John Goble. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
