Randy Lee Bowen

Randy Lee Bowen, June 26, 1970 – May 12, 2023, beloved son of Reynold and Oretha Bowen went home to be with the Lord. 

Randy will forever be remembered by his brother William (Susan) and Sisters Judy Howell (Ronald) and Joyce Mills and nieces Nicole D. Mills and Hope A. Mills. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife Margie Bowen and daughter Chloe Elizabeth Bowen. 

Randy spent his working career at the Martin County Public Library where he started as a bookmobile driver. He retired as the computer specialist for the library. Randy was the Easter bunny, Santa and other characters for the children who visited the library. He loved working with the children. 

Randy will be cared for by the Crum Funeral Home of Inez, Kentucky. Friends are invited to visit and pay respects on Sunday, May 14, from 6 PM to 8 PM.  Funeral services will be led by Tim Preece in the Crum Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM on Monday. Burial will follow in the Fletcher Jude Cemetery on Big Petercave.
