Rebecca May Fletcher

Rebecca May Fletcher, age 77, formerly of Debord, KY passed away on February 26, 2024 in Castlewood, VA at her daughter's residence surrounded by her family. She was born on March 26, 1946 to the late John F. and Delilah Fletcher in Martin County. In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Denzel and Daniel Fletcher, one sister, Louisa Fletcher, and two granddaughters, Amanda Chafin and Christina Bumgarner. Rebecca is survived by three daughters, Sylvia Chafin and Sirena Rose, both of Castlewood, VA and Sherry Bumgarner of Lebanon, VA, two brothers, John Phillip Fletcher of Lawrence County, Ky and Millard Fletcher of Inez, KY, and two sisters, Ernestine Newsome of Venters Branch, KY and Geraldine Jennings of Prestonsburg, KY. Rebecca is also survived by a host of grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 1 PM at the Fletcher Cemetery in Inez, KY with Luther Fletcher officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
