Ricky Lee Slone

Ricky Lee Slone, age 58, of Lovely, KY, passed away on April 27, 2025, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was born on May 11, 1966, to Glenn Archie Slone and the late Marsha Sue (Kirk) Slone in Columbus, OH. In addition to his mother, Ricky was preceded in death by his wife, Renee (Jewell) Slone, one brother, Victor Slone, paternal grandparents, Carlos and Ernestine Slone, maternal grandparents, Willie and Victoria Kirk, one uncle, Randy Slone, and one cousin, Tim Slone. Ricky is survived by his father, Glenn Archie Slone of Inez, KY, one son, Nik (Kasandra) Slone of Lovely, KY, sister-in-law, Marlena Slone of Lovely, KY, two nephews, Jarrod (Taylor) Slone of Inez, KY, and Cody (Micah) Slone of Inez, KY, one uncle, Jerry Slone, one aunt, Anna "Belle" Slone, and one cousin, Randy Slone. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Eli, Harper, and Nolan Slone. Ricky worked construction and was a coal miner. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was cooking over the grill or riding his four-wheeler, which he loved. He was also a big sports fan, but nothing was better than UK basketball.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 2 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Lonnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Garden in Inez, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Tuesday, April 29th from 6 PM to 8 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
