Robert Bowens

Robert Bowens, age 81, of Kermit, WV, passed away on April 16, 2025, at his residence. He was born on March 28, 1944, to the late James and Jessie (Spaulding) Bowens in Fort Gay, WV. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Bowens, one son, Robert Glen Bowens, six brothers, Charles, Haskel, Everett, Dan, John, and Paul David, and four sisters, Opal, Pearl, Carol, and Louise. He is survived by two sons, Mitchell Dale (Kim) Bowens of Kermit, WV, and Barry Bowens of Norwalk, OH, three grandchildren, Danielle (PJ) Hall and Katlyn Bowens, both of South Carolina, and Derek Mills of Prestonsburg, KY and three great grandchildren, Saber Hall, Kane Hall, and Jayleigh Hall. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 2 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fluty Lick Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday, April 18th, from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
