Robert Maynard

Robert Maynard, age 100, of Lovely, KY, passed away December 21, 2023 at Martin County Healthcare Facility in Inez, KY. He was born December 16, 1923 in Threeforks, KY to the late Elijah and Virgie Scott Maynard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Sadie Howell Maynard, his second wife, Ollie Mary Jude Maynard, seven sons, John Henry Maynard, Millard Maynard, Nathan Maynard, Billy Ray Maynard, Donnie Maynard, Melvin Maynard, and Ray Maynard, one daughter, Mary Belle Maynard, one brother, Bill Maynard, and eight sisters, Belle Smith, Gladys Jude, Ollie Jude, Merky Jude, Kate Jude, Mary Lowe, Haley Jude, and Sarah Jude. He is survived by three daughters, Darlene (Charlie) Fletcher, Glendine Maynard, and Loraine (James) Fletcher, all of Inez, KY, six sons, Oliver (Janie) Maynard of Crum, WV, Robert (Minnie) Maynard of Blaine, KY, Leslie (Alice) Jude of Warfield, KY, George Thomas (Bonnie) Maynard of Pilgrim, KY, Ronnie (Helen) Jude of Inez, KY, and Lonnie Maynard of South Charleston, WV, and a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Maynard of Naugatuck, WV. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and a special great grandson, David Lee Miller. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 1 PM in chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Oliver Maynard and Buddy Stacy officiating. Burial will follow at the Joe Blackburn Cemetery on Pigeon Roost. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 2 PM to 9 PM. There will be special services is 6 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
