Ronald Lee Parsley

Ronald L. Parsley, born in Columbus Ohio, April 28, 1955, passed from the loving arms of his family into the loving arms of his Lord, in Lavalette, WV, September 14, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Garnette Stepp Parsley, and brothers, Arthur Parsley, Jr. and Kenneth Parsley. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and AJ Sharpe, sister, Freida Bunyard, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ron was great man and will be remembered fondly, as generous, kind, dedicated, and loving, by all who were blessed to have known him. The comfort of his warm smile will be missed dearly in every space he’s ever occupied, but mostly in the hearts of the two who called him “Dad.” No one knew Ron or the depths of his love better than his daughter Rhonda and son-in-law AJ. From bumper to bumper restoring old Chevys, he taught these two the mechanics of cars and life, what works and how to fix it when it doesn’t. Their loss is inconceivable, but Ron leaves his legacy with Rhonda and AJ, and the tools and skills to rebuild and tune up, with his love and strength forever on their side. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 PM until the time of services.  As per guidelines and the families request, masks are required for all attendees.  Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
